Hillside Church family – we wanted to start bringing in some practical tips to improve your mental health, as we believe our mental health is very closely tied to our physical and spiritual health! We are living in unsettling times and it can be difficult to take care of your mental health. Megan Zhang, our Worship Leader and a trained therapist, will be bringing tips and practical encouragement to us each week as we continue persevering in this unknown. Feel free to read through the PDF’s below for all her insight and advice! We pray this lifts you up and encourages you in this time!

Pastor Beth is taking us through the Psalms every week! Join us on Facebook and on the website every Sunday at 10:30 to hear more.
In the chaos of life around us, God has given us a way to connect our hearts with Him – the Psalms! These are God’s playlist: songs and prayers that we can offer to God no matter what we are going through. They show us how we can bring our complaints, our confessions, our thanks, and our worship in ways that will lift up God and lift our spirits at the same time. Come with us as we explore the uplifting power of Psalms in our uncertain world!
We will have no in-person service this week, but you will still be able to worship remotely with your Hillside family at 10:30am on Sunday! Log onto Facebook as we release the video of singing and the sermon, and comment along with others who are watching.
If you are not on Facebook, you can watch the singing
and the sermon beginning at 10:30am HERE.
After the service, at 11:45am, we will be hosting a Zoom call for anyone who would like to share fellowship and discuss thoughts on the message. You can join the call from your computer or phone by clicking here.
At Hillside we are offering help to anyone quarantined or in need of assistance due to the Coronavirus. If you are available to help or need help, please fill out the form below so we can contact you. This can include shopping, a ride, information, or just someone to speak with or pray with. We are here for each other and our communities! Thank you to all who are available to help.
“God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love and self-discipline” 2 Tim 1:7. Let us all look to God who is our help in our times of need.

Come and hear the word of God and bring your friends!
Our Fall sermon series on the book of James is starting September 9th!
We will be offering a small groups option for those who would like to get to know some people in the congregation and grow together in faith. Small groups will study the Bible and share life together! They will meet from September through December.
If you are interested in more information about being part of a small group, please email Pastor Beth at email@example.com.
