Our Vision

Love God, Love People, Do Good

Hillside Church is an outpost of the Kingdom of God in Westchester County, NY. We embrace people right where they are on their spiritual journey. We seek to empower them to take the next step in their faith toward Jesus. We build discipleship relationships to develop more and better disciples. We encourage these disciples to engage their communities right were they are. They will do this by being the Gospel in the world around them, their workplaces, schools, communities, families and streets on which they live. We will love God, love people and do good in the name of our Father.

We will know we are successful when people enter our fellowship and feel they have come home. We will be baptizing new and seasoned disciples into new ways of living. Every active member of Hillside will be in a discipleship relationship learning and growing in the ways of Jesus. Our Church Family will be engaged in making our communities better places to live, work and play by taking the Gospel to every area of their lives.

Love God – Jesus’ first and greatest commandment was to love God with all your heart, soul and mind (Matt. 22:37-38). Hence, our primary goal is to love God with our entire being.

Love People – Jesus’ next commandment was to love others as ourselves (Matt. 22:39). The mark of a true Jesus follower is one’s love for other people (John 14:34-35).

Do Good – Jesus shows us that faith in Him is not a passive expression. Rather, it is active and tangible. The Scripture also tells us that faith and deeds are intimately entwined (James 2:17).
